What Direction Will You Go?

Hi everyone! My name is George Safaipour. Sometimes, when we drive, we never even think about what directions we take. Other times, we may ask ourselves or our partner will demand, “What direction will YOU go?” It’s important that we develop a good grasp on the direction that we go because it will help serve us well for the desires and actions that we will take.
We can take any direction in life as we choose, and we can do whatever we want. However, there are directions that serve us well, and there are directions that do not serve us well. I’ll tell you that it is best to go with the directions that will build you up even though these directions look boring at first. To be wise with the process of going after a specific direction, I want to share three steps to make you confident in your selection of a path that works for you.
First, it’s best to develop a keen desire of what you want. What do you exactly desire, and what benefit will you get by the desire? Is it important to go towards a direction without a desire, or do we even need a desire at all? Exactly, there can be no direction without a desire. It can be easy to desire something right from the mind and go about your direction that easily.Other times, we may have to search for what we desire. When we have to search for that desire, it can be time consuming. However, it is important to respect the time required because if you do land upon the desire, it will make sense why you devoted the time required. It can take months or years in some cases for a specific desire to come alive. When we make that desire alive, that’s critical to begin your direction towards a specific goal or aim. That’s why desire is important for developing a direction.
Second, we need that plan. Plans can be both short- and long-term depending on how long you want to go about your direction. Most often, it can take days or weeks. Other times, it can take weeks or months. Plans can be compiled as bullet-point lists, diagrams or charts, or technical drawings such as site plans. What’s important here is to know exactly what to plan out in advance and what idea you expect to project yourself into the future. These plans can always be changed, and that’s part of the entire planning process. Instead of going ahead blindly on your desire, have a plan to back up your exact steps you want to take such that you stay focused and move ahead with clarity.
Third, we need a drive to action. It can be easy to develop a plan and set it aside never to be worked upon. However, this may or may not waste time depending on the situation. What’s important is to act upon that plan of your desire in a timely manner and when it is best to work upon the desire. Plans can be worked upon for a few minutes to many years. It depends on the scale of the action that you want to take to fulfill the specific plans in question. Ultimately, without action, the plans and desires may never be fulfilled, and it is up to the person or group to take responsibility. When in doubt, work on the plans to fulfill the desires you want to achieve even though it DOES require time!
Ultimately, you want to fulfill a desire if that desire means anything to you. However, if it happens if the original desire no longer fulfills you, you may choose to abandon the desire for something better. In that case, do go after that better desire. It may be the reason why you changed your mind on a certain direction. Be aware that if you do choose to go this way, it’s best to have specific reasons for doing so. Other times, it is best to stick to the desire from beginning to end. It can help save time to make a clear-cut decision in the beginning rather than making up one’s mind multiple times down the road, especially when plans get technical. If it means anything to you, go after what you desire!
In the end, once you decided upon a clear desire backed up with a plan and moved by proper action, you will go in a proper direction. It will take time, and that’s a requirement for the process. There’s no substitute to this. It’s only best to make the desires come quicker with better clarity, faster drafted plans that still retain quality, or quicker actions that are not hasty. If the direction does end up being hasty, it can damage the entire direction that you wanted to take, and it may require you to start over from the beginning. However, that’s a separate direction for another article…Once you understand why you need to take a direction for a proper aim and goal, you will feel that radiance of Strivulence!
